3-y-o colt by Selkirk out of Puce (DARSHAAN)

This 3-y-o colt is in training with Luca Cumani and has already shown ability in his runs to date. Luca rates him as a good 'staying' prospect in the making and expects him to improve considerably.
He is a half brother to three ‘black type’ performers in LION SANDS, PONGEE and PUKKA, all of which were decent stayers.
CELT now qualifies for handicaps after his debut at Windsor on 8th April 2008, running a very promising race to finish fourth. He stayed on extremely well over an inadequate trip of 10 furlongs and we would expect success from him soon. |
