This 'well made' colt will be trained by Henry Cecil. He is a half brother to a 2-y-o winner in the USA.
He has a nice pedigree and his second dam is the mother of 6 winners including Royal Ascot winner TWO TIMING and two other 'black type' performers. The third dam was a top class broodmare and produced Champion American filly CHRIS EVERT and also ALL RAINBOWS who is the dam of another Champion filly WINNING COLOURS who also won the Kentucky Derby.
This pedigree reads back very well and is full of Group 1 winners. The colt’s sire, DR FONG, was trained by Henry Cecil at two and three, he was a Listed winner at two and a Group 1 winner at three and won in excess of £450,000 in prize money.
He is already a successful stallion and has sired several Group race winners. This colt looks like a 2 year old. Henry certainly likes the look of him.
